Mainly includes forgings for engine casings (fan casing, compressor casing, combustion chamber casing, high-pressure turbine casing, low-pressure turbine casing, etc.), various sealing rings, support rings, flange-rings, retaining-rings, bearings, and combustion chamber inner and outer wall rings.
The ring materials range from the engine intake to the exhaust end, primarily using high-temperature alloys, titanium alloys, and other difficult-to-deform materials. Deformation is challenging, and controlling the microstructure properties during forging and heat treatment is difficult, making machining extremely challenging.
